Héctor is a Chemical Engineer, member of the Group of Thermodynamics and Physical-Chemistry of Phases and Interfases of the Universidad de Concepción, in Chile; He began his research in Thermodynamics in the theories of chemical association on the marc of Equations of State for equilibria calculations. Previously he worked in other thermodynamics applications. His actual researches are The Statistical Fluid Theory, CPA, Supercritical fluids, Non-cubic equations of state, Numerical mathematics and Global and Hyperglobal Phase Diagrams.
Héctor is an Artist too, since fourteen years old his paintings and drawings lies around the net, his official gallery is in DeviantART. In the personal area, Héctor likes movies, coffee, music, history and many other things. His research team are; Daniela Espinoza, Ma. José Tardón, Diego Seiltgens, Guillermo Reyes, Hugo Segura and Andrés Mejía.
